Our Story
Cascadia Plant Company began with a simple connection to the land.
Growing up, time spent in the backyard garden with grandparents sparked an early curiosity—learning how soil feels in your hands, how seasons shape what grows, and how plants can nourish both people and place. Those early experiences planted a lasting interest in gardening and a deeper respect for the rhythms of nature.
Over time, that curiosity grew into a fascination with food forests—landscapes designed to produce food, support wildlife, and thrive with minimal inputs. The idea that a garden could be both abundant and resilient became a guiding vision.
Today, Cascadia Plant Company carries that vision forward by growing plants suited for the Pacific Northwest—plants that contribute to healthy ecosystems, provide food and medicine, and help people cultivate more resilient landscapes at home.
This is an ongoing journey, rooted in learning, growing, and sharing along the way.
